Coastal City Ballet - Company Audition

Coastal City Ballet will hold its annual Vancouver company audition for the 2013-2014 season on Sunday, June 9th, 2013. Coastal City Ballet actively seeks talented ballet dancers with strong classical training for its company at all times. Coastal City Ballet would like to encourage all aspiring young dancers who have completed high school to apply for a company audition.

Audition information for Coastal City Ballet company:

  • Date: Sunday, June 9th 2013
  • Registration time: 1:30pm
  • Audition time: 2:00-4:00
  • Registration fee: $20
  • Pre-registration required*

The Vancouver company audition consists of a ballet class, followed by contemporary repertoire. Female dancers will be required to demonstrate their pointe skills and male dancers may be required to demonstrate their pas de deux skills.

Please note:Pre-registration for a Vancouver Coastal City Ballet company audition is required. All dancers should submit a current resume, full-length ballet photo and headshot in order to register for a company audition by June 7th, 2013.

Dancers wishing to audition for Coastal City Ballet are welcome to apply for a company class audition at the Vancouver location studios. The artistic staff will consider each application for the company class audition and respond accordingly.

Video auditions are also accepted in lieu of company class auditions, especially for dancers outside of of the Greater Vancouver area. Videos can be submitted via mail, or via internet.
